Of course I have made myself some bagels with peanut butter before. And <em>of course<\/em> I had noticed the tempting jars of semi-liquid marshmallowy stuff. How could I not? Still I never actually had imagined that you could combine peanut butter and marshmallow fluff and two slices of toast and get something so utterly hilarious and tooth-achingly sweet, yet oddly satisfying as the great and unique Fluffernutter sandwich.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s sweet, it&#8217;s bound to drive your husband or boyfriend &#8211; he, who (for all I know) combines jam and cheese, so how dare he judge my tastes! &#8211; to a whole new level of insanity<sup>1<\/sup>, it&#8217;s made in about 45 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>To make this short: I love it.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>The Amazing Fluffernutter Sandwich<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 slices of toast<br \/>\nsome butter or margarine (or nothing at all)<br \/>\npeanut butter (I prefer creamy for this)<br \/>\nmarshmallow fluff<\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t really need instructions for this, do you?<\/p>\n<p>All right then: Spread some butter on one slice of toast, then spread same slice with peanut butter. Spread the other slice with marshmallow fluff and assemble.<\/p>\n<p>Now &#8211; and this is important &#8211; cut <em>diagonally <\/em>in two halves. Non-triangular sandwiches are hardly worth the effort of making them, don&#8217;t you think?<\/p>\n<p>Take back your seat on the couch (I imagine that&#8217;s where you intended to gobble down the sandwich) and enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<br \/>\n<sup>1<\/sup> I remember the looks he gave me when I added a bunch of tiny marshmallows to my hot chocolate.
